Why us?

When I became a mum my son Josh was diagnosed with a rare disease and that kickstarted a very long journey for Josh, my hubby and I, which included a kidney transplant, a whole heap of other boring (and extremely expensive!) medical treatment you probably don't want to hear about.

I've always been a pretty resilient and ambitious kinda girl but while Josh waited those long months for a transplant he couldn't leave hospital. Neither did I.

Mum life was really shit. I'm not gonna lie.

On the outside I was keeping it all together and trying my best to be there for Josh, but on the inside? I felt like I'd put my hopes and dreams on pause and would be a carer for a sick person forever.

So I did what anyone would do and started a business. (OK maybe it was a little crazy)

I'd always been a coffee lover so my mate and I put our heads together to create an online app to help people find and order coffee from the tap of their phone. Our hope was to make millions and retire young.

The idea got legs, we launched a super successful app and then I got pregnant with baby number 2 who decided to come 15 weeks early! In spite of all this, I realised just because shit happens sometimes it doesn't mean your whole life is gonna be shit.

Fast forward a few years and today I help people with disabilities, neurodiversity and chronic illness to become entrepreneurs so they can work wherever, whenever and however they want and see how epic life can be when you go after those crazy dreams (even when shit happens).

I also help people who are unknowingly exclusive, to be more inclusive so they can not be assholes.

I am the Founder of Australia's first and only online platform solely to help people with disabilities, neurodiversity and chronic illness also not forgetting the family, carers, community and support workers who also exist in this space.

People like me, people like you

I accidentally started an empire, when I was told I should brace myself to lose everything. I want to be the light that shows you can also dream big, no matter the diagnosis you are given.
